 Holiday Week

I plan to put out Daily Updates every day this week except Wednesday (Christmas).  However I expect them to be short and sweet.  Like this one.

Hall Parked at DNR

According to the Missouri Accountability Portal, Daniel Hall is now at the Department of Natural Resources. (See it here). His position title is “seasonal aide.”   It’s unclear what the job description of a seasonal aide is, or how many of those positions DNR requires…

Hall was Nixon’s appointee to the Public Service Commission before his interim appointment was yanked at the special session.  Hall, or any Democrat for that matter, is considered unconfirmable by the Senate without a paired Republican appointee to the commission.

It’s expected that Hall will be reappointed and a yet unnamed Republican will be named when the legislature reconvenes in January.

Seattle Machinists to Vote on Boeing Contract

See below, Rex Sinquefield is refueling his latest vehicle, Grow Missouri, sending a check for $245,000.  I suppose this is in advance of their efforts next session to pass a tax cut bill or advance an initiative petition.
