Tomorrow’s Tax Day so we’ll start with two charts from USA FACTS.

1. Not surprising that the rich pay most of the taxes.

2. But I am surprised how the rich pull down a fair amount of handouts as well.

3. Poorer folks power that “voluntary tax,” the lottery.

4. Housing making up most of inflation now.

5. Affordable housing hits record low.

6. Tomorrow is also the Boston Marathon.  According to this chart, I think I could probably keep pace with the leaders for about ¼ mile.
