Sample of Comments
· Lincoln will raise the most money but Holly will win.
· At some point money wins out. Lincoln is proving he is one of the top fundraisers in Missouri. Also, he has a geographical advantage being from southwest Missouri.
· Has the money and the organization. Most importantly, has Pat Thomas.
· MONEY!!!!!!
· The fundraising Juggernaut that is Lincoln Hough will not be beat. Let's not forget that Wassinger lost to Saundra McDowell. Remember her? Yeah, me neither.
· Unless Wasinger or Porter self-fund Hough seems to be the leader.
· Lincoln will have the money but Holly has the charm and the scrappiness to win.
Who Won the Week?
Phil Christofanelli – When you have both County Executive Steve Ehlmann and Sen. Bill Eigel speak at your fundraiser it shows a remarkable ability to bridge the gap between traditional republicans and movement conservatives.
Jamie Corley – Remington MOScout polling shows a path for Corley in the crowded SOS race. Yes, half (44%) of Missouri’s Republican voters support the current total ban on abortion. But the half (45%) prefer an alternative regulatory framework.
Mike Kehoe – The fundraising juggernaut continues. He’s already brought in more money since the March 31 deadline than his opponents PACs brought in during the last three months – COMBINED.
Bob Onder – Seems to have found the perfect attack line against his main opponent Kurt Schaefer: old clips of Schaefer when he was running in a purple state senate district.
Will Scharf – Club for Growth, which is supporting Scharf, recorded $3 million of contributions, and I am thisclose to changing my PowerRankings to make Scharf the favorite here.
