1. Balance of payments, by states.  This is the difference between what a state’s residents and business pay to the federal government, and what that state receives from the federal government.  Orange states pay more than they get.  Blue states get more than they pay.  Missouri gets about $5,400 more per capita than it pays.

3. Good news for cattle farmers… A study on grocery purchase of folks on weight loss drugs.  They found a 5.5% decline, a $416 annual reduction in purchases per household.  But “meat snacks” seem to have held up well…

4. With new Trump tariffs coming, America has largely reduced its dependence on Chinese goods over the past ten years, but it’s still a substantial trading partner.  Over 15% of Missouri imports are from China.
