Axion + Mouton
Axiom Strategies today announced a strategic partnership with longtime political consultant Paul Mouton, with whom Axiom has collaborated for more than two decades. However, this partnership establishes an official alliance, bringing Mouton’s leadership under the umbrella of the Axiom network.
“Paul is a powerhouse in Missouri and Republican politics and I’m glad to have his established consulting business join the Axiom network,” said Axiom Strategies founder and CEO Jeff Roe. "His skill, work ethic, and relentless drive have been critical to advancing numerous conservative causes. His expertise will be a critical asset not only to our Missouri operation, but to clients and candidates all over the country as we continue to grow."

MOScout’s Hallway Index: Best Prez Candidate for MO Dems?
I asked lobbyists which Democratic presidential candidate they thought would politically be most helpful to Missouri Dems. 24 replies…
RESULTS
1. Joe Biden… 37.5%
2. Mike Bloomberg… 33.3%
3. Pete Buttigieg… 8.3%
4. Amy Klobuchar… 16.7%
5. Bernie Sanders… 4.2%
6. Elizabeth Warren… 0%
Sample of Comments
· [Bloomberg is a] moderate with money.
· Suburbs feel safe with [Biden] and urban core turns out for him. Only shot to keep it close in MO
· I don’t think Biden will be the nominee, but he would help the most. Klobuchar and Bloomberg would be helpful as well. None will be helpful enough to make it truly competitive. Unless Nicole is up against Greitens. Then anything is possible.
· I know chose Amy because “none of them” wasn’t an answer.
· The way you phrased the question threw me a bit. Let’s say “hurts them the least.” In that case, it’s Biden.
· Klo and Pete would be sane enough to attract what few swing voters remain in Missouri. Remember, Dems have to keep over performing their over performance in St. Louis Co. suburbs to pick off Wagner and Koenig. They can't do that with Sanders and Warren.
Who Won the Week?
Robert Ross – Finds himself in the middle of the hub-bub again with his Government Oversight Committee.
Bev Randles – The former GOP LG candidate was the plaintiff’s attorney in the $256 million verdict against Bayer.
Eric Schmitt – The AG kicks off his re-election campaign with a clear message and a huge money and name ID advantage over his Democratic opponents.
Greg Razer – Unveiled a list of endorsements that makes it increasingly likely when filing opens next week, he won’t have a primary opponent for the Senate 7 seat.
