YouTube Pulls Long Ad Over Big Lie

Press release from Long campaign: YouTube removed from its website Missouri U.S. Senate candidate, Billy Long’s campaign ad that promoted election integrity. This continues a dangerous trend by YouTube to censor and cancel conservative candidates and public figures by removing their content from its platform.

What It Means

Honestly probably good news for Long.  It’s unclear how much money he could devote to the ad, but this gives him an earned media bump with his two target markets: Republican primary voters, and Donald Trump.  Both believe that Trump only lost the election because of some vast yet impossible to uncover fraud occurring. And both despise Big Tech.

And maybe it helps him in his quest to get the coveted Trump endorsement.  Who knows?

Pietzman Contra Little Lie

Rep. Randy Pietzman, in House debate concerning HB 1720, punctures Missouri’s “little lie,” that agriculture is out #1 industry, an oft-repeated line.  It’s number one in our hearts.  But not by any other metric like revenue, jobs, exports etc.  See the debate here.  The bill was passed 120-30.

Kinne to MO River Coalition

Shane Kinne, previously with Missouri Corn, announced his new gig on social media… “Next week I will begin a new career chapter as the Executive Director of the Coalition to Protect the Missouri River.”

See the Coalition to Protect The Missouri River website here.

Burks Fundraising Text: Pelosi Will Make You Denounce Jesus

Things are getting wacky.  Taylor Burks, running in the CD-4 primary, is making some off-the-rail claims in fundraising his efforts.

Nancy Pelosi & her atheist woke supporters are ramming through a bill that will shut down every Christian business in America.

They will criminalize your Christian beliefs.

They will make you denounce Jesus.

See a tweet of a fundraising text here.

See the fundraising link here.

What It Means

Hysteria sells.  And in a congressional primary election the drive to stand out and connect with the base leads to crazier and crazier fundraising pitches.

A Promise for St Louis was formed.  It’s a PAC.  Its treasurer is James T Allen III.
