We’ll start with a few workforce visuals…

1. Wall Street Journal looks at the mysterious disappearance of Gen Z workers.  “A shortfall of about half a million workers in their early 20s when comparing the current size of that workforce with 2019 levels.”

2. St. Louis Federal Reserve crunches some numbers on childcare.  Missouri, while more affordable than the US average, is less affordable than its peer states.  That number circled is the percent of annual household income required to cover the cost of child care.

3. Looks like a market failure.
