Sample of Comments

·       They will go with the best deal, and it may not be in Missoiri

·       There is no point of worrying, we really have no control over the whims of greedy, megalomaniacal NFL owners who seem to have little regard for the loyalties of a fan base that extends into the largest media market in the state. It may or may not happen - worry about bigger issues or things you can impact directly.

·       The Chiefs do not want to leave their historic stadium and know the costs of a new stadium would greatly exceed what they're willing to spend and what the public will subsidize. The Chiefs only question on the Jackson County ballot will easily pass without the Royals involved.

·       This is ridiculous. Missourians struggle to fill their tanks and afford day care and now they should give tax money to an organization that makes going to a football game unaffordable to 80% of Missouri tax payers. The Hunt family has billions and Missouri has been their home a long time. If they want to go they should just go. This extortion is insane.

·       No way the state gives up the amount of tax dollars necessary when they want to fund education/school choice.

·       The local leadership in KCMO would leave ANY business owner looking for greener pastures.

·       Huge embarrassment if it happens. This is the best run in MO sports history. Losing a team with the best player in the world in the middle of a historic run would be a wound that might never heal.

·       I am not worried because I don’t care.

·       The Chiefs ownership group want to stay at Truman Sports Complex because of the family history but at the end of the day they run a business and if Kansas can provide a new stadium with public funding the Chiefs will move.

·       If the state, county or city can't come up with some sort of plan then they will reluctantly move, but it is clear they would prefer to renovate rather than relocate.

·       Don't see this General Assembly offering general revenue to address this and with the revenue horizon getting bleaker-no way the state can step in and not sure another vote passes

·       They don’t want to leave arrowhead. But their hand would be forced if Missouri ignored them. We don’t need to go overboard, but something needs to be done.

·       It might be better without them if it takes a stadiums worth of money to keep them. I get that its a point of pride for Missouri but we have to trust the plethora of studies that show that these big stadium deals very rarely if every actually work out to the fiscal benefit of the state.
