Foster to AG’s Office

Josh Foster, staffer to Sen. Ed Emery, is headed “across the street.”  Starting Monday he’ll join the Attorney General’s office as Policy Director.

In a note to friends, Foster expressed gratitude for his seven years in the Senate.

“The Senate has been a wonderful place to work, and I could not imagine where I would be without everyone’s friendship, support, and guidance through the years – especially during those early years when I was fresh out of college and really had no idea what I was actually doing…”

Sample Comments

·         There was no option for “none of these things will ever happen” so I went with the least absurd.

·         Congrats Democrats, you’ve won St Louis mayor spot!

·         Mayor Quinton Lucas: Congress 5th District or Attorney General

·         Hands down its Williams in Congress. An established Dem winning statewide is a pipe dream. Too much baggage from the national party will prevent them from garnering votes from across the aisle. City politics are too unpredictable to choose Tishaura.

·         Senator Williams is a rising star.

·         This one is easy. Tishaura’s is likely the favorite in a race with Krewson. I can’t see any of the Dems winning statewide and Brian Williams will have a very crowded primary if Lacey ever decides to hang it up. He will likely not be progressive enough for primary voters who want a “squad” style congressperson(for all the woke people in that district).

·         I have to believe that everyone is going to vote for one of the two local races.

Who Won the Week

OCTOBER QUARTER EDITION

Lauren Arthur – Hits the $100K+ mark for a second quarter in row with no declared Republic opponent.

Deb Lavender – Outraises the incumbent senator by a factor of three.  This is a tough flip for Dems, but Lavender’s pushing.

Tommie Pierson – Establishes himself as the front-runner in the primary to succeed Gina Walsh.

CL PAC – We’d be dismissing the campaigns of Mike Moon and Rick Brattin except for David Steward’s pile of cash.

Robert Ross – Chugs away with another solid quarter.  His opponent Van Kelly will either need to keep loaning himself money, or start fundraising.

Tim Jones - Leadership for America may live on in perpetuity thanks to the brilliant investing of Lucas Tomicki.
