To Conference or Not To Conference?
The House voted to reject the Senate’s version of the congressional redistricting map and instead go to conference to seek a compromise. It was a bipartisan vote, passing 115-19.

Candidate Filing
Today is the final day of candidate filing – unless a courts order candidate filing to reopen given that potential candidates don’t have a congressional map to know who they’d be running to represent.
Yesterday we saw a slew of candidate filings.

A lawsuit was filed Friday declaring that “because the General Assembly and Governor have failed to enact a new congressional plan and the filing period is now open, this Court should adopt its own constitutional redistricting plan sufficiently in advance of the primary election that protects the rights of Missourians.”
